Mr. Yates has been professionally involved with evaluating motor vehicle collisions and vehicle component failures since 1980. His Accident Reconstruction experience includes working on hundreds of cases involving Automobiles, Trucks, Motorcycles, ATVs, Bicycles and Pedestrians.

With a degree in Mechanical Engineering and specific Accident Reconstruction training with annual updates, Mr. Yates has the necessary background for proper analysis of vehicle performance in complex collision events.

Mr. Yates has motor vehicle industry experience as a District Service Manager (motorcycle/ATV) and Product Investigator (auto/motorcycle/ATV) for American Honda Motor Company. He has hands-on experience and training in proper Automotive/Motorcycle dealership service procedures.

An active motorcyclist since 1969, Mr. Yates has been a State-certified Instructor of motorcycle riding safety courses in both California and New Mexico. As a Vocational Teacher, he has taught proper service and repair techniques to motorcycle technicians.

He has Off-road Vehicle experience analyzing accidents involving 2-wheeled Motorcycles, 3 and 4-wheeled All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), Side-by-Side off-road vehicles and Dune Buggies.
